Msg 12.27.10 - Power
| December 27, 2010 The Warrior honors his own Power, practicing throughout his life the experience of inherent energy and the will to call upon this innate Power upon his need and his leisure. He has learned to face the fears associated with Inner Power and to understand the true beauty of his full potential. This is a practice of meditation, focused living, and letting go of socially-influenced ideas of what Power means. More often than we are afraid of others, we are afraid of ourselves—our own powerful potential. As we grow, society and family frequently influence us with messages of staying “in control”—to be “good little boys and girls,” causing most of us to thus suppress much of the primal energy and potential we inherently carry. We are afraid of losing control or going out of control, which we’re taught will drive others away, leaving us abandoned and alone. In truth, our inner power can do just the opposite. It can open new doors and opportunities, draw more people to us, invite abundance into our lives, and lead us to dreams and peace. This is why it is so important to explore your true Power—to feel it, and to let it run uncontrolled, rather than out of control. Your power does not have to run stark wild, but rather unleashed and focused, not bound by suppression—non-constricted yet concentrated. As you begin to let it run more freely and perhaps feel a little fear in the process, remember that the Warrior is often afraid, but fear does not stop him. He looks fears in the eye and smiles. “Bring it on,” he says, and walks forward along the Path he knows is right. Experience your power! You can do this through Warrior practices, such as creativity, meditation, or a spiritually-oriented martial arts system, led by a conscious Master. The potential of a fully realized and unsuppressed human being is truly awe-inspiring and quite extraordinary. You will be amazed at how intensely powerful and simultaneously peaceful and focused you can be. You are this fascinating power! Know it! Live it! |
