Tocha has trained a wealth of Thai and International champions, both in traditional Muay Thai Boxing and Mixed Martial Arts. He has trained and worked with the best in the world, and his experience as a former fighter for Sor.thanikul in Bangkok allows him to travel Internationally as a Muaythai spokesman and teacher. 
The original and only foreigner to be allowed to fight and teach under Thailand’s renowned Sor. Thanikul, Paulo was nicknamed "LEMB" in 1985 after becoming the first Westerner to fight and win in China. In 1993, he was appointed Senior Vice President of the United States Muay Thai Association and still serves in that position today. In addition to fighting professionally and becoming a world champion thai boxer, Paulo has also served as a Judge/Referee for the World Muay Thai Council in Bangkok, Thailand and as an MMA Referee under the Nevada State Athletic Commission. However, he may be best recognized in the film Bloodsport as the Muay Thai fighter Paco fighting against Jean-Claude Van Damme’s character. Watch the his first clip here and his Van Damme fight here.
