At the Academy of Mixed Martial Science, we believe the best training is in a truly balanced and comprehensive system, including ground-fighting, stand-up fighting, and internal arts. That's why we don't break up the programs. When you pay for membership at AMMS, you have access to ALL STYLES & CLASSES within the martial arts curriculum. And even though our full program is the most comprehensive and our instructors are higher ranked and more experienced than any other school in our area, AMMS' prices are among the lowest around of any professional Muay Thai and BJJ academy. We do not want to discourage any and all who wish to train from training; this is a labor of love and lineage, and we don't believe true warriors should not study just because they can't afford to do so! 

Philosophy & Structure
The Academy of Mixed Martial Science is truly unique among the industry. We are structured similar to a traditional martial arts school--with rankings and tests, structured classes, formal students-disciple relationships, teachings in honor, discipline, and humility, and internal arts such as meditation, yoga, fitness, and psychological preparation. However, our style is not the traditional hard-style Karate or soft-style Kung Fu, but rather the more modern system of Mixed Martial Arts, which incorporates traditions like Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, and Judo to culminate in a contemporary blend referred to as MMA. Hence, we are neither a traditional system nor are we a typical MMA gym; we use this more modern and practical system of fighting, but bypass the ego-driven, competitive environment typical of many “MMA Gyms” today.  We are a unique combination of the tradition and pragmatism, aiming to teach the modern sport of full contact MMA through the structured and successful approach of tradition, respect, and devotion to self-mastery.
